The essence of Eugenia's work resides in her emotional resonance. The women, in all their multifaceted glory, tend to have center stage in her work. Each piece is a journey through her experiences; from the glamorous to the more pensive; the powerful and vulnerable.
Her work is a greeting to all unflinching women who can be true to themselves and defend their values. Her world is feminine feminism, to her, is a perspective; it's an ethical policy for listening, compassion and humanization.
The human figure is an important element which gives life to her work. So much so that most times one figure is enough to conclude a painting. She hopes the life and leisurely pace that I convey may guide the viewer towards the concept of intimacy.
On the other hand, beauty is a concept closely linked to the cultural reality of the individual that makes a judgement of beauty, the history of our culture and it's concept of beauty is what we will also judge to have beauty.
She wish to explore esthetic, symbolic and cultural values of women through garments, visual elements and predetermined concepts, through the process of deconstruction and reevaluation of all that has been hegemonically preestablished which has tried to exhibit or rather cover up the true essence of femininity.
Graduated like industrial designer and master's degree in modern and contemporary art. I began to paint just 2018.
